A ceremony at the Temple of Sinawava and sunset at Canyon Overlook

This Zion elopement will forever have my heart. My beautiful bride (inside and out) planned her elopement for over a year, and every moment of the day showed it. We kicked off the day with an intimate ceremony at the Temple of Sinawava, at the top of the canyon inside Zion National Park. Their families and closest friends traveled all the way from Nashville to watch them say their vows in the most beautiful setting.

After a ceremony that made everyone cry, we adventured off to another amazing spot for sunset photos. Canyon Overlook will forever be my favorite spot for wedding pictures! The canyons and colors never disappoint. They watched the sunset on their perfect day, and the pictures capture those moments beautifully.

Planning a ceremony at the Temple of Sinawava?

The Temple of Sinawava is one of six approved ceremony sites inside Zion National Park, with room for up to 35 guests. It sits at the very end of the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, which is shuttle-only for most of the year, so we plan your timeline around the shuttle. Every ceremony in the park needs a special use permit, and the park only accepts applications from the couple, so I walk you through it step by step.
